Paula Whaley

Paula Whaley, Director, Operations leads strategic development and oversees operations for a business unit focused on reimbursement support and patient adherence for both physician-administered and self-administered products. Ms. Whaley works with product manufacturers to identify strategies and tactics to support patient access to therapy.

Before joining Lash Group, Ms. Whaley worked as a psychotherapist and with a company that focused on the business aspects of behavioral healthcare. This experience transitioned her into working within the larger arena of medical expense management, clinical quality, healthcare strategy and operations. She has spent eleven years in a variety of positions that required the assistance in developing and implementing new products to the national and California markets, to operationalize new administrative platforms and in helping to build teams that manage new business offerings. She has experience in the complex interface of medical services, access and payment issues, as well as ethical issues with new therapeutics and policies that challenge the existing protocols engaged in by all stakeholders. Ms. Whaley has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Illinois State University.
