Melissa Lee

Melissa Lee, M.S., Director, Operations, leads the daily operation of strategic business development and manages a portfolio of services to address healthcare reimbursement barriers. The programs she oversees are designed to facilitate patient access to treatment through comprehensive case management services including reimbursement counseling, patient assistance, and adherence services across various disease states. Her other responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, team training, reporting, and performance-tracking initiatives. 
 
Previously, she was responsible for designing, implementing and supporting day-to-day operations for corporate patient assistance programs, assisting patients with more than forty products for multiple disease states. She was also a senior leader in a business unit that provides operational programs with staffing flexibility in key service areas, such as benefit verifications and data intake. In this role, she lead initiatives for various staffing components such as planning, training, and productivity. In addition, she provided continual process improvement initiatives for the business unit.
 
Before joining Lash Group, Ms. Lee was a corporate billing analyst for a major telecommunications company where she gained extensive account management and billing resolution skills. She also acquired valuable case management experience and a vast knowledge of public programs while working for government agencies in two different states. Ms. Lee earned an M.S. from Florida A & M University and a B.S. from Florida State University.
