Dana Edwards

Dana Edwards, Senior Director, Operations, leads strategic development and oversees operations for a business unit focused on reimbursement support and patient adherence for both physician-administered and self-administered products.

Ms. Edwards works with product manufacturers to identify strategies and tactics to support patient access to therapy. She has led the design, development, and implementation of programs servicing both patients and providers to support patient access to and coverage for high-cost pharmaceutical and biotech products. Her focus on quality assurance and process improvement has led to innovative work processes and system solutions to facilitate a portfolio of services addressing complex reimbursement issues across payer types. Ms. Edwards has experience in a variety of disease states and has previously managed support programs for therapies targeting a range of autoimmune diseases, anemia, schizophrenia, myocardial infarction, and a prophylaxis therapy for respiratory syncytial virus.  Ms. Edwards serves as a practice area leader for manufacturer-sponsored copay assistance.  She was the recipient of the Top 25 Women in Business Achievement Awards sponsored by the Charlotte Business Journal and the division winner for the AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group Vision Award in 2008.

Before joining Lash Group, Ms. Edwards completed a hospital internship, assisting with preparations for a survey by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. She gained additional regulatory and compliance experience by working in a manufacturer's environmental health and safety department. Ms. Edwards received a B.S. in biology with a concentration in public health and medical microbiology from Virginia Tech.
