50 Most Influential Women
On May 20, The Mecklenburg Times hosted the eighth annual "50 Most Influential Women" awards. This event was created to spotlight and recognize the important role women play in the greater Charlotte region, in the economy, and in society. The honorees represent the most influential women in business, government, education, and not-for-profit fields that live and work in the Charlotte metro area. A panel of independent business leaders choose honorees based on their professional accomplishments, as well as their involvement in the community.
Among this year’s recipients is Lash Group’s Honora Gabriel, VP, Not-for-Profit Operations, who has been selected for her many accomplishments and for the positive impact she has on her colleagues, her company, and her community!
Honora Gabriel, is not only a trailblazer in the workplace, she is also a leader in the greater Charlotte region through charity work and mentorship. Honora leads an operational business dedicated to administration and strategic support of the company’s corporate-based and not-for-profit foundation programs. In her 13 years with Lash Group, Honora has not only been an incredible leader and example for all associates, but has fundamentally shaped the way Lash Group does business. She has personified Lash Group’s commitment to working with purpose through her dedication to delivering the highest quality patient care and serving as a true partner to everyone she comes in contact with.
Honora works with clients to identify strategies and implement tactics to support patient access to life-saving therapies. She has led the design, development, and implementation of programs that service patients, providers and pharmacies with the aim of greater patient access and coverage for high-cost pharmaceutical and biotech products. Her laser-like focus on quality assurance, process improvement and more importantly, delivering the highest-quality patient care has led to innovative working procedures and system solutions for the company.
