2015 Community Blood Center of the Carolinas

Lash Group Awarded the 2014 Lifesaver Award

Lash Group is dedicated to putting patients at the center of everything we do – and that goes beyond just our typical workday. We’re also given many opportunities throughout the year to use our allotted volunteer time to give back in other ways to patients, and to our communities. Through our HandsOn program, we provide associates the chance to get involved through clothing, food and school supply drives, by forming teams to support local fundraiser activities (like run/walk events), and by participating in other personal health, wellness and awareness activities.

Our associates give back in another BIG way several times per year, through a series of routine blood drives held at office locations across the U.S. In March alone, our offices collected more than 70 units of blood. Each unit of blood can help save as many as three lives. That’s nearly 220 lives nationwide impacted this month alone by donations from our associates!

Lash Group has been dedicated to this cause for a number of years, and just this month, the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas awarded us the 2014 Lifesaver Award for our dedication and the impact we have on patients in the Charlotte region. Over the course of 2014, our Charlotte NC associates impacted 525 local lives through the selfless act of donating blood. Thank you to all of our associates who gave! Visit to learn more.

Lash Group works with other organizations across the country to collect blood for patients in need. This includes The Red Cross, Central Blood Bank, and Blood Centers of the Pacific.
