In his role as the SVP of Business Excellence for Lash Group, Bill Smith is responsible for the continuous improvement across a wide range of areas within the organizations such as implementations, customer experience, and shared services. In his role, he provides strategic oversight for the implementation of products at all stages of the product lifecycle, evaluation of program health and overall service quality, training delivery, workforce optimization, and execution of Lash Group's copay services.
Mr. Smith most recently held the roles of SVP, Product Management & Analytics for Lash Group, as well as SVP, Business Transformation where he led multiple teams in enterprise-wide initiatives that drove innovation and transformation at the business level. Previous to those roles, he held the position of Vice President of Operations at Lash Group, where he was responsible for building internal operation teams as well as creating and implementing strategic goals designed to expand comprehensive reimbursement and patient support programs.
Mr. Smith’s experience spans many therapeutic areas and includes specialty products prescribed and administered in a wide variety of treatment settings. His focus on quality, process improvements, and data management have led to innovative system solutions that incorporate strategic program design and operational excellence.
With over twenty-one years in the medical billing and health insurance field, Mr. Smith has held previous leadership roles within CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy and two medical supply companies. He has additional experience in Corporate Account Management for a national technology supply company and is Six Sigma Certified.
