Patricia Wolfangel

Vice President, Commercial Enablement
Patricia Wolfangel (VP, Commercial Enablement) leads a newly created center of excellence that harnesses the power of our organization to meet customer needs in commercializing their assets. In this role Ms. Wolfangel helps manage and focus her team on operations and strategy, using proposal development, marketing analytics, CRM, and strategic partnerships all with the main goal of business development to meet client needs. Ms. Wolfangel’s long-standing pharmaceutical industry experience, depth of knowledge, and span of contacts allow her to leverage her launch and commercialization experience.
Ms. Wolfangel previously led Xcenda Commercial Consulting and Market Access Consulting and Communications business units, addressing the vast biopharmaceutical needs of clients with the suite of services offered by Xcenda, including health economics and outcomes research, epidemiology, managed markets, stakeholder insights, reimbursement strategies, risk management, training, and field support.

Prior to joining Xcenda, Ms. Wolfangel was Acting Vice President, Payer Strategy at a large bio-pharmaceutical manufacturer. In this role, she developed the company’s approach to channel and brand marketing strategy across the biopharma company portfolio, developing the governance of this function and leading it day to day. Ms. Wolfangel before this was also a Partner and Senior practice leader at Eversana and business development leader for the Zitter Group. 

Ms. Wolfangel developed an interest in the use of pharmacoeconomic data in managed care decision making early in her career. She was a founding member of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), where she developed the group’s first national and international congresses. She also served as the business editor for ISPOR’s journal and continues exploring her passion regarding the intersection of clinical and economic decision making.
Ms. Wolfangel earned her bachelor’s in business communication from Purdue University. She completed graduate work in business and health administration at UCLA and UC Berkeley, CA, along with graduate work in art history. She is a frequent speaker and moderator at industry events and a founding member of Xcenda’s Women’s Impact Network. She enjoys mentoring young professionals to consider and embrace the field of market access.
